After interviewing approximately seventy people, Patricia turned their stories and thoughts into poetry & prose and combined it with the spiritual icons found along 96th street, which is now known as the Church Street of Edmonton.

Patricia Travers is a Budtender / Shopkeeper living in Edmonton AB. Canada In the mid-2000s she graduated from university with an ABD in Communications & Professional Writing. For her practicum, she created the Travers Publishing House and published her first two books: Amara and Usula's Umbrellas. Next, she would go on to create Church Street...where hope grows. A beautiful photo & poetry book that captures life in the inner city pre-covid time. Patricia is currently working on an upcoming book.
