About the Book
The 2019-20 season for Calgary Fire White Midget Elite ended abruptly on March 1, 2020. As with so many sporting, social, and life activities, the 2019-20 Alberta Female Hockey League was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic that struck at global society in hugely impactful ways.
Fire White earned a place in the not-to-be playoffs by finishing second in the southern division of the league. The final game, a win over their sisters in Fire Red, indicated that the closing matches between the two Calgary teams were going to be exciting, and hard-fought contests.
A truncated hockey season then for Calgary Fire White, but here it is, captured in writing and images.
