About the Book
Once upon a time, there was a princess, a pirate, and a writer.
Henrietta Anastasia Smith is not your average princess. She’s the adopted daughter of Rumple Stilskin Smith. She grew up in the Dark Forest Republic where all of your favorite fairy-tale villains run wild and free. But what really sets Henri apart is that she doesn’t believe in fairytales. So, imagine her surprise when she finds out she’s a princess with no curse which means no prince which means no happily ever after. Even though her story is just beginning, this princess is determined to be herself even if that means sticking to the wrong side of the book.
Captain James Hook is a notorious pirate who doesn’t care how he gets the girl. He has his eyes set on Henri and doesn’t care that she’s not interested. He’ll do whatever it takes even if it means he has to curse an uncursable princess. But there’s more to this pirate than meets the eye. He might have sworn off love, but he desperately needs a happy ending.
Grim is the poor unfortunate soul writing this story. Only the story seems to have a life of its own with a princess who doesn’t want to be a princess and a pirate whose middle name is trouble. She will fight against writer’s block, plot twists, and stubborn characters to write a fairytale that’s unlike any other.
