About the Creator
Born in Buffalo, I grew up on Grand Island, which sits in the middle of the Niagara River above the Falls. I had 4 miles of woods behind me, a large gully for sledding, and the mist of the Falls roughly 6 miles downstream. I was given my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic, at 9, but didn't get into photography passionately until college at Marquette University. While earning 2 degrees in psychology from Marquette, I began a stained glass hobby and found my eye for the unnoticed details of life, which now drives my vision behind a camera. After Marquette it was down LSU (Geaux Tigers!), where I reeled in a Ph.D. in Clincial Psychology, and my wife of 36 years, D'Lane. We then completed our psychology internships at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles enjoying the California spirit while there. Next, on to the Panhandle of Florida for jobs, family and the beach. As a psychologist, I enjoy the creative potential of the human mind and my ability to help others thrive.
