About the Book
The story of Benny's, a famous poolroom in Baltimore, from 1949 to the present. The story is told with photographs by the author in 1957 plus memories of people who spent time in the poolroom in the 1950s and 60s, including Benny's wife and daughter. These stories were collected in the 1990s and presented in 'eye-dialect'. There are also photographs of the building from 1915, a second, but short lived, relocation in the late 1960s, and its present location today.
