This is an illustrated history of the Battle of Britain by a former RAF Squadron Leader who took on the project of illustrating every unit and every day of the Battle for a bet (to be completed in time for the 80th anniversary). The challenge soon became a passion and this is the first half of the project. This volume covers the period 10 July to 6 September 1940, a period often referred to as the first two phases of the Battle.
