About the Book
Sophie had been gifted with the ability of seeing other people simply as people; whatever their background, nationality, economic status or any other item that most people viewed as that which makes others different from us.
As she lived in a larger Midwest city the high school she attended was like a miniature United Nations. So she and her classmates were daily exposed to the diversity that is part of these wonderful United States.
However, they had also noticed that not everyone thought or felt the way they did as evidenced daily by the evening news. So, she and some of her classmates decided to try to do something about the divisions they saw starting at their own school.
Come join the journey as these ten High School Juniors and their World History class discover what Sophie had known all along; that there are more things that bind us, than divide us.
