About the Book
This is a second volume to volume one's “The Majestic Dawning.” It begins with a limning of what it is that creates an abundant, growing economy - the kind that was necessary for the accomplishment of purposes of the dispensation of the fulness of times established with the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in early 19th-century America. Gibbons describes what happens to the Western Tradition after the Great Pivot in science, technology, art, literature, statecraft, and nearly every aspect of society that occurred with the Restoration. He answers the questions What is the Western Tradition, and What threatens its continuation into the future. The book ends with a description of what transpires at the end of the Dispensation, namely the gathering of Israel on both side of the heavenly veil, and the Second Coming of Christ.
