About the Book
Here it is, hot off the presses... the Opening Night of the West Coast leg of Todd Rundgren's "A Wizard, A True Star" Tour. Over 80 pictures (count 'em, 85) on 40 pages, in a slick, hardcover, collectible, delicious book. Can't you just taste it?
Tonight's show saw a new first set, Notopia performing the premiere of "Todd Rundgren's Johnson," Our Hero's upcoming disc of blues legend Robert Johnson songs. Down and dirty Rock n'Roll, with some dark sunglasses at night thrown in, to boot!
And of course, AWATS, in its' glory and entirety, followed. With the departure of Roger Powell, and the addition of ex-Utopat Ralph Shuckett to the mix, the show was like new again... for good and for bad! Captured here for eternity. And "...watch Kasim, Prairie!"
