About the Book
When COVID-19 took over the world and the first lockdown of 2020 was imposed, we were only allowed an hour a day for exercising within an hour's walk of home. Thinking early days as a student of photography at Plymouth College of Art and Design led me to take a new camera on my daily exercise around my home in the city of Exeter. It is not often you get the chance of standing in the middle of completely empty streets and see places I had taken for granted in a totally new light! My walks took random directions, but I have organised pictures into the neighbourhood wards in which they were taken; from St David’s through the City Centre, St James, Newtown, St Leonard’s and back to the River Exe and Quay. I hope you enjoy ‘Exeter Lockdown 2020’ and experiencing parts of Exeter in a new light.
