Jamie Hobson is retired and spent 36 years teaching graphic design on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Hull, Southampton and, for the last 16 years of his working life, at London College of Communication a college of the University of the Arts London. He has lectured in the USA, China, Japan, Korea and Germany. He has lived, with sonographer wife, Kate, in Victoria Road since 1992. They have two sons, both in the film industry, one in London and another in LA.
