The author has had three books published his first "A Brandane Boy" was originally published in 2009 his second book 'Parkcops' detailed his life in the police. In 2021 a completely rewritten and updated version of 'A Brandane Boy' was published. The Author was born on the Scottish Island of Bute and is both a British and Canadian National. He retired from a career in the Police Service in 2003 having achieved the rank of Inspector. Following retirement he was appointed a Justice of the Peace (Magistrate) for England & Wales sitting in both criminal and family courts. He retired from the Bench in 2013
