About the Book
2021 was a continuation of the horrible year of 2020. We started our third lock-down. During that time, I found myself social distancing, not only physically, but virtually too. I was finding my place. Moving to a new home and living conditions, working remotely and trying to understand the new world I found myself in. One constant was my photography. I continued to shoot, but not publish many photos. There was a void in my feeds. I felt a void in my life. Like all voids, they want to be filled. This book was inspired by my sanity-saving Photowalks. These walks allowed me to process everything happening around me. The images became symbolic of my feelings and thoughts at the moment when I phroze them in time. The words accompanying them hope to reflect those ideas that I felt. Some are pessimistic-who wasn't? Some, for me, were inspiring. I'm not sure if we will really fully appreciate the affect this pandemic has had on our lives. This is my attempt to fill that void.
