About the Creator
Dr. Terra Griffin is a licensed professional counselor in Alabama and Georgia. She has worked as a mental health professional for the past 20 years in various settings with various populations: school counseling, rehab counseling, addiction counseling, severe mental illness (inpatient psychiatry and prison mental health) and health & wellness. She has extensive experience working with those struggling with adjustment disorders and life transitions, anxiety, assertiveness and confidence issues, depression/grief, trauma, and substance abuse. Her specialized populations include the African American population, women, LBGTQ, military spouses, veterans, first responders/law enforcement/military, work-life balance, and women in leadership. She utilizes a person-centered and strength-based approach to empower clients to identify their inner strengths and help them utilize these strengths to succeed in life.
