Ken Holland is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and is a member of the panel which awards RPS distinctions. He is an Honorary Life Member of Dawlish & Teignmouth Photographic Club: he is frequently invited to lecture and judge at Camera Clubs, and has taught City & Guilds courses. He became interested in photography at a very young age, and has always regarded it as a form of expression. It has the unique ability to capture a brief moment in time. He believes that a photograph should be more than just a beautiful image: it should inform or challenge the viewer.
