About the Book
This book details the story of Lamar Lewis, his journey from a young child growing up in the southern comfort of Volusia County, Florida, to then moving with his family to the northern state of New Jersey. In 1991 Lamar then at age ten, was introduced to the extreme culture shock of the Atlantic City Streets. Exposed to a completely different social atmosphere made up of sex, bullies, peer pressures, gangs, fights, loneliness, drugs, street life, fatherhood, fatherlessness, abandonment, jail, state prison, and eventually facing 360 months (30 years) to Life in Federal Prison, for Murder.
Watch as Lamar makes simple choices that predetermine his fate. Unaware of the subconscious influences throughout his life, which over time created Anomie, a Sociology and Psychology condition, and conduct disorder.
Learn from his mistakes and identify where turns in his life were created. Use him to gauge your life and make better choices for the future. Regardless of what stage of life you are in, rich or poor, projects or suburbs, subconscious influences continually shape all of our lives.
