About the Book
'Montages and Interventions' is a collection of artworks by Colin Rhodes, which take as their starting point a suggestive printed photograph encountered in a random way while reading or thumbing through a newspaper or magazine, often while travelling. Produced over a twenty-five year period, the images display a wide range of interests and materials. The automatic method is, though, at the heart of them all.
