About the Book
Fernando La Rosa, Photographer
(b. 1943 PERÚ - d. 2017 USA)
Fernando La Rosa founded Secuencia Foto-Galería in the 1970's in the San Isidro area of Lima, Perú. It was the first photography school and gallery in Latin America dedicated to fine art photography. He studied with Minor White and exhibited the work of Aaron Siskind and Harry Callahan at Secuencia. He curated, for Secuencia, the first solo exhibition in Lima of the Peruvian photographer, Martin Chambi.
