About the Book
Homesteaded in 1862, the Salt Works Ranch derives its name from unusual saline springs on the property. Operated by the same family for over 140 years, the ranch is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been designated as a Colorado Centennial Ranch by the Colorado Historical Society. This scenic ranch has more than 400 acres of irrigated hay meadow with senior water rights from Salt Creek.
