About the Book
Things didn’t work out as planned and that set off an even greater adventure than she had bargained for. Treisman has lived in Catalonia for over twenty years. She has learned Catalan, the language native to the region, explored the territory, participated in the Catalan independence movement, adopted animals, learned to dance the sardana, and has tried to make friends and live a normal life in unusual circumstances.
Here is her story.
