The story materialized after teaching first grade for a while, and each year I would introduce the standard: ELAGSE1RL10: With prompting and support, read prose and poetry of appropriate complexity for grade 1. I would incorporate making silly stories or relatable poems as a way of making learning enjoyable, memorable and unique for each student. There-by bring this story to fruition.
