"Hyakumeizan" means 100 mountains in Japanese. These peaks have been climbed in many ways, but never by a dog.



This is the story of Hana. Together, we trail-ran the 100 mountains in a year.



The adventure required deviousness: hiding the dog to get past officials, and climbing mountains such as Mt. Fuji at night to avoid detection.



Hana remained loyal and uncomplaining. A stubborn Border Terrier that I love to bits.
