About the Creator
I have been a photographer for over 50 years, and that means I have studied light. Light is always changing. It is different in the morning than it is in the evening. It is different when it filters through the clouds. It is different when it reflects off of rain or water. It is different when it backlights a grove of trees. Photographers learn how to capture the endless nuances of light. What you see on these pages are some examples of light that I have captured. They bring back many memories to me because I was there at the moment that I stopped the light. Moreover, even with all the great advances in color photography, I remain amazed that black and white prints can today still be so dramatic and appealing.
