About the Book
A documentation of Edward's life in the United States Navy during the second World War. His records and honors while serving on the USS Intrepid as a Lieutenant Fighter Pilot. Photographs of his original water color painting that were done to honor the men he fought with. The original paintings were destroyed by a kamikaze that hit the Intrepid and set fire on his cabin. He was in the air flying his Hellcat at the time of the incident. Originals are kept as part of the permanent collection on the USS Intrepid Air Sea and Space Museum in New York City.
