About the Creator
Debbie Morrison is a writer, designer, and educator. She was born, raised, and educated in Toronto and Montreal, Canada, and currently lives in Zionsville, Indiana. She worked in the field of curriculum design for over twenty years, with related writings that include a published book chapter, an award-winning blog, and published articles across numerous online platforms. She graduated from Ryerson University in business administration and holds a master’s degree in education and human development from George Washington University. Flowers of Heaven is her first book, a meticulously researched biography about Debbie’s grandmother Gretchen and the social and political circumstances of Gretchen's era. The book was self-published in March 2024. Debbie is currently studying art history and is working on a second book about women in art and architecture.
