Nothing is worse than homework over Thanksgiving break. At least that's what superhuman Grace thinks. When released from the clutches of high school for the week of Thanksgiving, Grace is burdened with the task of writing a short essay on family. The closest thing she has to family is her mentor, Drake. But he doesn't count, does he? He only adopted her as his daughter after they started working together as the crime fighting heroes Solo and FireFinch. When Drake mysteriously has to leave on a mission alone, Grace stows away, convinced her powers to control fire can help him. Unfortunately, Grace's presence on the trans-continental mission to track down a dangerous element also attracts a formidable old enemy, now desperate to take her out for good. But what surprises Grace most is not the terrorists, but allies--- who turn this mission into the strangest family reunion!
