Kazakh nomads have been grazing their livestock near the Altai Mountains in western Mongolia for many hundreds of years. Today very few Kazakh eagle hunters are left to carry on the ancient tradition. They live in the cold, harsh and desolate plains of the Altai Mountains, hunting on horseback with their golden eagles.
