To photograph a vast and complex reality like Berlin according to one's own vision, it is necessary to make a series of choices. Deciding what to exclude from the frame is often more important than establishing what must be included in the image. Through this process of subtraction I pre-visualized various photographic situations. In several cases I then had to wait patiently for the situations I had imagined to occur in reality. Sometimes a short wait was enough, other times a relatively long period of time.
The photos were taken during the summers of 2023 and 2024.
