About the Book
Paul Gibbs is an acclaimed unacclaimed New Zealand artist who resides in Whanganui, Aotearoa-New Zealand.
His work is private, often unshown, yet excitingly experimental and, at times, provocative.
Many of these works were completed at a workshop in Hamilton, New Zealand with the internationally renown artist, Max Gimblett.
Gimblett's work is known for its “synthesis of American and Japanese art, [which] brings together abstract expressionism, modernism, spiritual abstraction, and Zen calligraphy.”
Pauls' interpretation brings forth his individual personality into the freedom of artistic expression.
