The tropics, and the images associated with them, have a tendency to elicit fantasies of travel, vacation, adventure, and relaxation. However, to the citizens and inhabitants of these countries, this is simply home.

In this book, I focus on the natural beauty of the tropics - adventure for a traveler, sweet home for a local. The lush flora, the naturally saturated color palate, and the almost universal imagery of palms and beaches are highlighted.
