About the Book
When the idea of a Pedriani-Mattes Family Reunion was proposed, so many of you offered your ideas, enthusiasm and resources to make our 2010 gathering a meaningful time together, and we are grateful for your love and fellowship.
One way that Letitia’s family has always bonded is through the sharing of meals, whether during a special holiday or around her coal stove on a Sunday afternoon. With those memories in mind, we offer this cookbook as our way of preserving our family history.
Being Letitia’s first and last grandchildren, we nicknamed our project The Bookends Book.
We hope you enjoy this collection for years to come, and will share much laughter, many meals and cherished moments through its contents!
