About the Book
For the last twenty years, Berlin is being demolished, developed, rebuilt
and reinvented. With every new construction project former fallows,
vacant lots, fire walls, old buildings and prefabricated tower blocks that
have shaped the city for decades have disappeared. Since 2009 the
architectural photographer Andreas Muhs captured and documented these
places and symbols in his series "Rest-Berlin".
