About the Book
In 2004, I left Drew University and set off join the real world. Unfortunately, that was proving to be quite difficult and I landed a job as an environmental educator at a nature center in northern New Jersey. It was fun and delayed the inevitable, so for the four years after college, I kept with the industry, teaching ecology and introducing the great outdoors to students in Alabama, Illinois, and Maine.
During that time, I seized every opportunity to photograph the world around me and develop my technique and style. This book is a portfolio, over 180 of my best images from the Fall of 2004 until December 31, 2007. I hope that you will enjoy the visual recount of my adventures, and that these images may stimulate you to get into the wild and have your own.
