About the Book
"Moving out of State- Reasonable", comes from a hand-written for sale sign someone posted on a crypt. I photographed it, and it became the title because it refers to elements of all the photos in this book. The indications are of movement - cars, roads, gas stations. Signs aren't permanent, they're temporal, and often outlast the things they signify. And some of the signs are contradictory, or convey more eternal things. The photos with religious references or overtones imply a society moving in and out of various states of being, and "Reasonable" serves as a reference to a commodified god.
