An ex-teacher, I am now a retired grandmother of 3. From my experience with children I know that not only do they love comic rhymes but it helps them with their learning and vocabulary. Since I love writing and illustrating, especially for my own grandchildren, this is something I do both for my own pleasure and for theirs. The idea for the bookcame about originally especially to help one of my grandchildren who has learning difficulties.
