About the Book
A Kind of Dignity is a volume of 40 chosen photographs taken from a huge library of Steve Harrison's work yet to come. His work as a photo journalist took him no further than his own city where he lived during the 80's but in this raw account of British life Steve takes no prisoners to expose the true poverty and grime that made him outraged at the social injustices going on all around him.
Steve Harrison did not turn a blind eye to the unfortunate society in which he witnessed - he photographed it and exposed it in all of its starkness. His images speak for themselves - no text or explanations are needed.
All prints in Steve's books can be ordered seperatly by quoting reference numbers.
