Dorothy Tietz is an artist, photographer and writer based in Missouri. Her works have been published in various books and magazines including Games Magazine, Quisters, and Country Living. Her art work has been recognized by the Albreight-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, Missouri for the last five years. She has exhibited paintings, photographs, mixed media and digital art, and has been awarded first, second, third and honorable mention. In 2010, her watercolor was awarded first prize in its catagory at the Art For the Health of It Exhibit held at Rolling Hills Library, East Hills Mall. Two of her watercolors were chosen by Heartland Hospital as part of their permanent collection, and are currently on display in the pediatrics unit. Her digital art was chosen as the 2011 logo for TrailsWest! It was used on t shirts, posters and buttons for the annual arts festival held in St. Joseph, Missouri.
