Judith Ann Warren is a documentary photographer who has traveled extensively to document domestic and international disaster relief and development efforts on behalf of non-profit organizations. In early 2004 she volunteered to help out at a fundraising event hosted by a Los Angeles non-profit disaster relief agency. The opportunity arose to offer her services as a photographer to document their event, thus beginning a journey that expanded her work into photojournalism for humanitarian causes, embracing her activist nature in her art - stirring an even deeper desire and commitment to capture people and their stories through her photos. While photo-advocacy is her greatest reward as a photographer, she also works in portraiture, travel, event and commercial photography, as well as personal projects.
