About the Book
For almost 10 years, I designed kennels and animal shelters that used a manufactured, modular kennel building system. Though I use other methods today, during that time, I wrote two books on the processes involved.
This is a photography book, and it steps the viewer through construction of a HoundQuarters kennel. It starts with the concrete slab and the pictures take you all the way through to the grand opening celebration. The book was intended for the client who was building a new HoundQuarters kennel, and who wanted to know what comes next in the construction process. They would keep track of where the project was, simply turning the pages.
HoundQuarters closed its doors shortly after the owner passed in 2011.

In 2003, I designed my first boarding kennel, and at last count some years ago, I had designed over 250 boarding kennels and catteries, animal hospitals, veterinary clinics, grooming shops, city animal shelters, SPCA facilities, police, military and the United States Boarder Patrol / HomeLand Security K9 working dog kennels all across the United States of America and in several other countries around the world. I would be glad to talk to you about your project. Thank you so much for stopping by.
