Chad Weckler has been a commercial and fine art photographer for over thirty years. In 2008 he was one of twelve artists chosen from the Hudson Valley to participate in the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) inaugural MARK program and in 2010 was one of two selected artists from the Hudson MARK08 program to be trained as an artist consultant. From 2008-11 he started serving as a grant panelist on the CCCA/Decentralization board. In 2009 he was Chair of Columbia County Council on the Arts' ArtsWalk. From 2011-2020 he was a monthly programmer hosting a program entitled The Art of the Hudson Valley. He was a producer of the Hudson Music Festival (2011-2017) He also was an Executive Committee member of the Hudson Business Coalition (2009-2018). His next book will be available in January 2024 called Portraits of Hudson, 107 environmental film portraits of people who have used their creativity to enhance the Hudson, NY community.
