About the Creator
Katie Duane
Buffalo, New York, United States
I am a visual artist, writer, and art educator currently located in Buffalo, NY. As an artist, it is my hope that my work benefits the viewers and readers who encounter it. I hope that my paintings and photographs capture and communicate the kind of beauty that is easily missed or forgotten, and that my writings carry the possibility of unifying people through experience, thought, and feeling. I strive to create work that is accessible by and applicable to all kinds of people, despite differences in their personal history, location, gender, religion, politics, or interests. It is my personal belief that art should bring people together, not separate them.
