About the Book
This memoir captures the major elements in the author's life as he grows from a shy, introspective youth to a man comfortable with modest family and career achievements. His story ranges from his days in small town New England to his professional life in Manhattan, from his early efforts at writing and the early loss of his parents to the resurrection of family life and his exposure to the cultures of other nations. Supported by loving aunts and a loving wife and family, he finds meaning in his Catholic faith and a new understanding of how to address the destiny that confronts all mankind.
