About the Book
The Niddrie housing scheme was a part of Edinburgh that you didn't find in the tourist guides. Once a successful experiment in social housing, the scheme declined into one of the most deprived places in Europe, with a male life expectancy less than that of war-torn Baghdad. This poignant collection of images was shot during Niddrie's last days.
