About the Creator
Linda Gordon
Devon, England
I make work about 'place', particularly in rural areas. I like to immerse myself in my surroundings, and allow the forces of nature to work upon me. Mostly this results in temporary sculptural installations, using local earth materials. These are contemplative pieces, designed to give us all a sense of being at home on the earth. My overall practice is wide-ranging however, and also includes writing and photography. Always it is about our position as an intrinsic part of living nature.
