About the Book
This is a picture book with some historical facts reflecting on my trips to Auschwitz and Birkenau. Aushwitz and Birkenau are only two of the death camps the Nazis used to exterminate innocent people, mostly Jews. It is a reminder of the horrific things Hitler and the Nazis did to these people. The Nazis tried to destroy the evidence of their atrocities, but could not. It now remains as a reminder that whatever man can destroy, God can replace with something beautiful. It is a place where flowers dare to grow.
