About the Book
Sierra Leone is among the poorest countries in the world and ranks near the bottom of the Human Development Index 2011. Since 2002, when the civil war came to an end after ten years, the country has worked to rebuild itself. This book of photographs documents life in the country now and some of the projects that UK charity Tearfund are supporting there.
