About the Book
This is a revised edition of 'Easter in Jerusalem: a photographic journey'. The book catalogues a nine-week journey to Syria, Jordan, Israel, Morocco, Spain and England. I have been interested in photography (on and off) for more than 40 years. Soon after having a heart transplant more than 4 years ago, I decided that life is too short and too precious to not follow one's whims. One of my whims is travel: I would like to see as much of the world as I can before I leave this mortal coil. Another is photography. Photography is, for me, meditation in action. I realise that there are more than enough photographs in the world, but that is like saying to a golfer that there are more than enough holes in one. It is about being in the moment, pure and simple. Photography gives me those moments. My aim is to keep do that until I'm finished.
