About the Book
This book is a collection of a few of my favorite portraits that I've taken in China. My first trip to China was in 1986 and I've returned several times. I've traveled from Inner Mongolia in the far north to the southern border of China next to Laos in the Xishuanbanna region of Yunnan province, and from the mountains of Tibet to the fertile Yangtze River Valley and the China Sea. I wanted to show the very diverse, beautiful and intriguing face of China. Thanks to all the people who made this book possible and I hope you enjoy it.
