About the Book
July brought drawings of bombs, birds and Longhorn steer!
This is essentially a coffee table book of my art. Each day I try to draw...this book is a collection of images that I organize at the end of each month of my daily drawings. I also post my daily drawings on Flickr.com and have included in this book all of the comments and view counts that each image has garnered there.
Most of this work was created some time between 5am and 7:30am before I head off to work. At that time I've usually had my tea, my mind is fresh and the house is quiet. They're usually on 8 1/2" x 11" paper so that I don't have to photograph them, but rather just scan them. These drawings give me a little lift each day...I can head off to the day job, and feel good that I've done something creative before all the stuff that distracts one piles into my head space.
