About the Book
Is it possible to love two different worlds equally? I have always considered both Western Canada and Western Europe as my homelands. They appear to be so different from each other, but are they really? There are the obvious differences in antiquity, language, customs, transportation, urbanization, and so on. However, when one looks carefully enough, one sees, and even feels, more similarities than differences. Revisiting the world of my childhood I photographed old landscapes and juxtaposed these with my current world. It is the subtle impact of similar ambiance, colour, or form that I tried to capture.

About the Creator

I have a passion for painting and photography. There is beauty everywhere. Infinite opportunities exist to put images on canvas or film. In education, photography is also a way of documenting the learning that takes place inside and outside the classroom. Documenting the changes in nature, in rural and urban landscapes, and in the environment in general, I consider as essential as photograpy as an Art form.
